.Net Developer

Job Description

The .Net Developer will work from Romania (Bucharest / Cluj offices) while collaborating with the Global MassMutual teams and provide support in the Investment space.

The person who will join this role will report to a local manager. 

Goal: Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of working software, including but not limited to infrastructure set up, network set up, development, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities 

• Design and implement advanced applications with complex business logic for IDS space
• Help improve the overall user experience, making sure our solutions meet the business requirements
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to solve emergent challenges
• Engage with team members and be an active contributor in standups, user story mapping, backlog grooming, demos, retros, etc. 
• Analyze, develop specifications for, and deliver enhancements; debug, solve issues/problems and maintain complex applications or system(s) 
• Be self-supportive in collaborating with your peers to effectively deliver robust solutions for the business
• Write tested, robust code that can be quickly moved into production
• Work seamlessly in an agile environment with engineers, product managers, business analysts, and designers to understand end-user requirements
• Conduct technical troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational support for production code
• Support-what-you-build, including monitoring, performance tuning, and responding to incidents

Requirements 

• Minimum of 4 years of .NET development experience 
• Experience in .NET core development, object-oriented programming
• Good understanding of various design and architectural patterns including ServiceOriented Architecture/microservices 
• Experience with a web API framework and ability to design and implement REST Api's
• Experience using a DevOps delivery model 
• Experience and deep understanding of tools including containers, CI/CD - GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Helm, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, etc. and emerging technologies 
• Experience with batch job scheduling software 
• Experience with any Cloud products/tools (AWS/Azure/Google)
• Good experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience creating and maintaining technical design documentation 
• Must be self-aware and resilient 
• Nice to have experience with JavaScript (React.js or Angular) or Python
• Nice to have: Investment of financial services domain knowledge
