Join Nokia as a Microwave Services Trainee in our dynamic Mobile Networks team, where you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of telecommunications. As part of our Project Engineering department, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, plan, and troubleshoot cutting-edge telecommunication networks. - Education Recommendations: Active student of Master's in: Telecom/ Electronics and Communication / Electrics and Electronics / Computer Engineering or related area
- This internship is a great opportunity for an engineering mindset. As a Microwave Services Trainee, you will work in one of the engineering departments in a multinational team in Nokia.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Working in Nokia Project Engineering department, you will be learning how to:
- Plan telecommunication network.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and review technical processes for project deployment.
- Work on a design, planning, and troubleshooting of telecommunication network.
- Support subcontractors during installation and swap activities.
- Manage documentation for microwave links, including review and acceptance of documents and commissioning results.
- Analyze data and provide technical insights to optimize network performance and reliability.
- Participate in the integration of microwave links into the Network Management Platform.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment that fosters continuous learning and professional growth.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
What we expect:
- Active student of Master's in Telecommunications, Electronics, Communication, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
- Passion for learning and professional development in the telecommunications field: especially Radio, Microwave and Transmission.
- Basic knowledge of telecommunication technologies, including 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G.
- Understanding of radio wave propagation, antenna interference, and modulation.
- Strong coding and programming skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and possess strong interpersonal skills.
