British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Process Improvement Manager - Requisition to Pay - Fixed term role in Bucharest.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Business and Operational
- Engages with GBS S2S REQUISITION TO PAY Hubs, CoEs and business representatives for the respective functional area to identify and validate process improvement and define optimal solutions for gaps identified.
- Participates in the functional global process improvement, alignment, and decision-making forums [Focus Groups and Design Review Group Meetings] presenting proposals and contributing to the solutioning approach.
- Leads the progression of local/regional/global system and process changes [permanent or temporary - waivers] ensuring that the proper governance and controls are consistently applied.
- In collaboration with relevant IDT representatives, GBS teams and other relevant teams, facilitates the process (re)design and supports the implementation of related system changes / new tools.
- Ensure that the process aspects of any system template changes are well crafted and optimally governed, while delivering the targeted business benefits.
- Facilitates the development of action plans for variances as identified throughout the quality audit process and implements corrective and preventative actions.
Transformation
- Coordinates processes continuous improvement initiatives [small/medium size] and the efficient design/re-design of the S2S REQUISITION TO PAY template for the allocated process area, but also cross-functionally/cross-sub-functionally, ensuring that they meet the business objectives [including standardization, automation, controls, and data harmonization aspects] and support the appropriate blend of automated and manual process solutions.
- Monitors benefits delivery for the improvement initiatives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Global Process Lead to drive the overall program goals. Work closely with key partners to understand business requirements and incorporate feedback into workstreams.
What are we looking for?
- Experience: Proven expertise in the relevant S2S REQUISITION TO PAY functional areas [Requisition to Receipt, Accounts Payable, Travel and Expenses, Reporting and controls across RtP process] in a multinational environment with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role focusing on process improvement
- Technology Proficiency: expertise in utilising technologies such as Coupa and SAP.
- S2S Operating Model: strong comprehension of the operating model, both at the central and local levels, with the ability to align strategies and initiatives accordingly.
- Self-Driven and Accountable: proactive, self-motivated individual capable of taking ownership of initiatives, driving projects forward, and delivering results within established timelines.
