Java Developer (with Angular)

For our business partner, one of Europe's leading commercial mobility service providers, we are looking for a motivated Java Developer (with Angular).

In this role, you will work closely with the team on a comprehensive Java-based product consisting of web frontends, backend APIs, and standalone microservices, using Azure Cloud.

You will work as part of an agile development team with members from Romania, Germany, and Ukraine to design, estimate, develop, and implement software solutions that satisfy business requirements.



Requirements:

At least 3+ years of experience developing applications with Java and Angular.
Strong Knowledge of Java 17 and Spring Boot.
Very good knowledge of and experience with JavaScript and client-side SPA frameworks such as Angular.
Demonstrated hands-on experience in reading, writing, and setting up Kafka topics
Familiarity with common stacks.
Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL) and UI/UX design
Proven experience in developing in a CI/CD environment with test automation
Experience in building and deploying to Azure (or comparable cloud environments)
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to lead and mentor the team - nice to have.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Design and develop high-performance, low-latency trading applications using Spring Boot.
Developing web frontends for Java web applications and microservices for application servers and cloud environments.
Responsible for applications and porting to other infrastructures (primarily cloud environments).
Conception and architecture creation based on current Java, JavaScript, and cloud technologies as well as further development.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Implementation of deployment scripts for containerized environment.
Support in creating an end-to-end solution architecture.
