Data Scientist

Data Scientist activities include data gathering and aggregation, data analytics, development of analytic tools and data maintenance.

Data resulted out of High Voltage testing for our equipment in the R&D stage is at the base of this role. Huge amount of data is to be selected, pulled and scaled/aggregated so it becomes meaningful for the experiments. Patterns are to be identified in this ocean of data using modern methods such as AI and neural networks and machine learning.

This is a key role to ensure our business becomes truly data driven. The position works alongside with a team of data and High voltage testing professionals.

• Programming sequences for data preparation, data analysis, feature extraction, and visualization
• Programming interfaces to commercial software and measurement hardware
• Administration and expansion of databases
• Preparation and analysis of data (Big Data) using modern methods (AI, neural networks, etc.)
• Independent creation of technical-scientific documents and materials
• Participation in agile development projects in high voltage technology

• Successfully completed Master's or Diploma degree in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
• Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Very good programming skills (Python, Matlab, etc.)
• Experience with measurement technology: Programming for controlling and reading measurement technology
• Experience with relational databases: Setup, implementation, administration, input, and output of datasets for further automated processing
• Experience with modern methods of data mining, data analysis
• English language proficiency
• German is an advantage
