Maintenance Engineer - SMT Production

Our Power Electronics Maintenance Team is looking for a new collegue!

Main mission: Ensure the availability and proper functionality of the production equipment.

What you will do as a Maintenance Engineer for SMT Equipments:

• Create preventive maintenance planning and ensure that preventive maintenance activities are performed;
• Perform trouble shooting, inspection and repair of the SMT production equipment;
• Manage the spare parts list of production equipment according with the Equipment Manual;
• Shared responsibility for the associated KPI performance - downtime and scrap caused by equipment unavailability;
• Support for the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes;
• Support the performance improvement of production equipment: quality (ppm), scrap costs reduction, cycle time reduction, technical availability - OEE (FPY, cycle time, downtime);
• Collaborate with process engineers to optimize SMT production processes and achieve production targets;
• Conduct corrective maintenance to address any equipment failures or malfunctions promptly;
• Is actively part of the local project team for product launches with input from serial production maintenance;
• Documentation: ensure that before SOP sufficient equipment specifications are available for maintenance.

What you will need to succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in SMT equipment maintenance are a plus;
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintaining and troubleshooting SMT production equipment
• Strong knowledge of SMT equipment operation and maintenance;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
