This position will be responsible for the support and/or delivery of training programs and initiatives to educate and enable designated sales teams. Reporting directly to the EMEA Director of Sales Acceleration, the person in this role will play an integral part in the roll-out of sales processes and methodology, sales enablement, productivity tools and messaging awareness, coaching/mentoring, and continuing education leveraging learning/development best practices and performance consulting strategies. You will work closely with key Sales stakeholders across our business.
Responsibilities:
- Adopt, deliver, coordinate, and track training programs for current employees.
- Adapt or create training modules which address specific sales skills, product knowledge, sales processes, and customer engagement strategies.
- Participate and contribute in all T3 (Train-the-Trainer) sessions as required and complete all necessary certifications in a timely manner. This includes, but is not limited to, sales training, onboarding methodologies, and product/solution knowledge.
- Develop and execute training plans; provide summary reports of all training delivered and track performance metrics.
- Evaluate performance based on pre-defined metrics and provide feedback to team leaders.
- Evaluate existing training programs to ensure the quality and effectiveness of professional development.
- Collaborate with Global Sales Acceleration, Field Marketing, Product Marketing, and other departments to ensure training content is aligned with company objectives and product offerings but also with EMEA needs
- Communicate with stakeholders from the Veeam training team and sales stakeholders.
- Offer 1:1 coaching to employees struggling with more complex topics and provide resulting feedback to the Sales Acceleration team or sales team leaders.
- Conduct trainings both in person and via online platforms.
- Perform any other activities as required by the Director of EMEA Sales Acceleration.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of sales methodologies and their adaptation into a sales environment.
- Awareness of, or experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM preferred.
- Awareness of or experience with collaboration tools like MS Teams, Skype, WebEx, etc.
- Facilitation & coaching experience is a plus.
- Strong sales background with hands-on experience in sales roles is a must.
- Veeam portfolio knowledge is a plus.
- Strong sales experience in Enterprise/Commercial/Channel roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven record of driving programs and projects independently with success.
- Exceptional organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter.
- Strong technical proficiency and the ability to learn complex systems quickly.
- Able to travel as needed (up to 30%) domestically with some international travel.
