    Main Responsibilities:
    • The jobholder reports to the Integration team in accordance with Prodmonitoring.
    The job holder is responsible for the following:
    • Creation of the SB preparation file containing all the technical information required to enable the Service Bulletin production
    • Coordination of the Service Bulletin technical approval to ensure that the Service Bulletin meets customer requirements in terms of safety, quality, lead-time, and cost.
    • Contribute to the overall Service Bulletin planning activity and provide support to customers for queries linked to the Service Bulletin technical content.



    1. SB Preparation
    • On receipt of the SBO for investigation, study the feasibility of the SB based on the related engineering source data (MOD, TRS, ITD, and Drawings).
    • Define the SB effectivity based on the Mod-build-up and complete the SBO.
    • Take the lead for Multi ATA SBs (organize a kick-off meeting with the other SIM.
    • technical domains to define their contribution to the SB preparation file).
    • Analyze and prepare the technical solution (identify the PRE & POST solutions) and create the technical change dossier based on existing serial drawings in the frame of known & close to known solutions.
    • Identify the required engineering contribution (drawings, test etc.).
    • Provide the link to the Design solution for SIM external source data providers to contribute to the retro solution build-up (multi-ATA subject).
    • Identify and manage special tools (GSE) for Service Bulletin embodiment.
    • Define and create the SB kit (as D-LOC in CKM) and define the solution in CMS (only in cabin/ cargo today).
    • Coordinate all available engineering data (TRS, ITD, TFU, VSB, W&B, Electrical.
    • Load data & engineering Source data internal/external).
    • Provide the interface with internal & external engineering to coordinate and ensure the availability of the retrofit drawing set with the related BOM.
    • Complete the SB preparation file and provide it to the SIMCP (production) group. Act as focal point with the responsible chief engineering, configuration management and airworthiness teams.
    • Check ITDs and retrofit TRS to ensure suitability for SIM.
    • Ensure the completeness and archive the SB preparation file with all relevant technical documentation.

    2. SB technical approval & airworthiness approval
    • Launch and follow-up the SB technical check.
    • Technically check the SB.
    • Monitor and do the synthesis of comments made during the SB technical check.
    • Launch the DCR and provide it to SEMB industrial group.
    • Manage the incorporation of comments raised during the DCR process. Launch and follow-up the SB technical approval.


    • Technically approve the SB as defined in the scope of the delegated DOS signatory rights (delegation)
    • Launch the airworthiness approval preparation in SAMM
    • Fill the SB Airworthiness Approval Check List and deliver it to the DAE
    • Complete the Airworthiness Approval in SAMM (The SBE will notify SIMYB to be dispatch the SB)
    • Dispatch the SB.

    3. Planning & Support
    • Contribute to the overall SB planning.
    • Support Integration team (program) technically for answers to airline queries.
    • Technically support the entire SB creation process.
    • Participate to Service Bulletin validations when required.
    • Ensure the quality of design data.
    • Initiate corrective actions to SB's where needed.
    • Support the continuous improvement of the SB process, tools, cost, and lead-time.
    • Contribute to improve SB quality in line with SB process requirements.
    • Provide all deliverables in line with lead time objectives.

    • Technically sign the TA for RTE1 as defined in the scope of the delegated DOS signatory rights (delegation).
    • Obtain DO signature for TA as RTE2 or higher.

    Technical knowledge:
    Experience of aircraft engineering & design or to work on aircraft (i.e.: part66)
    Good understanding of Airline operating and maintenance environment.
    Good communication skills. Fluent in written & spoken English (French, Spanish or German advantageous).
    Familiar with certification aspects.
    Communications skills with Customers and Suppliers.

    Professional skills:
    Proactive work attitude.
    To be able to take the initiative.
    Good negotiating skills and experience
    Management project mindset.
    Understanding of Customer and Airbus needs
    General Multi-ATA background of Airbus equipment, parts, etc
