Core and productivity tools squad: We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong experience in TypeScript/JavaScript and React framework to join our team. The mission is to deliver the visualization tools and UIs allowing our users to work with LSEG data content a seamless way such as build pitchbooks, create nice visuals they can present to their clients/management/colleagues.

IDEs squad:
The focus will be on Integrated Development Environments(IDEs) - enabling financial communities to find, screen, query, retrieve, augment and visualize a large amount of data through VS Code via an LSEG Extension.

Main Responsibilities:
o Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code based on requirements
o Develop software using disciplined software development principles and lead & coach the team on the same
o Create unit tests and integration tests to ensure software meets requirements
o Architect new systems, or reuse existing systems that drive complex applications
o Ensures responsiveness for applications and services
o Identify and resolve performance and stability issues
o Co-ordinates work for large development deliverables
o Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
o Collaborate with Product Managers to have comprehensive product workflows
o Work closely with the Quality Engineering team to ensure the high quality of the deliverables
o Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
o Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages


Essential Skills and Experience Required:
o 4+ years experience in TypeScript/JavaScript and React framework
o Solid technical background with understanding of programming styles, frameworks, design patterns and unit testing
o Strong experience in CI/CD, unit testing frameworks, automation (testing/deployment)
o Experience with Azure DevOps
o Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum
o Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
o Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
