IT Local Support

Euro Games Technology is looking for An IT Local Support professional who makes sure that our company’s computer software and hardware remain functional and accessible for all our employees. IT Support staff also gets new employees up and running on the software they need to complete their assigned job duties. In addition, they may spot signs of hardware problems before they escalate, allowing your company to replace aging equipment before failures occur.

Requirements:

PC: Windows XP, 7, 8, 8.1, 10 (basic Linux and MAC knowledge is welcome);
High-level knowledge of commonly used software, hardware, and applications;
Fluent in English at an advanced level (written and spoken);
Strong oral communication skills to gather information from employees and explain complex technical concepts in simple language;
Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and diagnose issues;
Time management skills to provide updates and fixes within a promised time frame;
Multitasking skills to assist multiple employees at once, in times of high workload;
Observational skills to recognize warning signs that indicate potential problems;
Customer service skills to interact professionally and positively with employees and coworkers;
Cisco Certificate (CCNA).

The primary focus of someone working as an IT Local Support is ensuring that a company’s employees can properly use software and hardware to complete their daily tasks;
Resolving IT support requests from employees, including but not limited to email configuration, software installation, proxy, backups, and shared folders;
PC peripherals setup (printers, VoIP phones, VPN routers, etc.);
Hardware: ordering, building, diagnosing, repairing;
Software: OS and Software Installation, Configuration, Firewall Protection Setup, Switch and Router Configuration, Intranet Management;
Analyzes and makes proposals for optimization of IT operations.
