    Brilliant academic background and master degree in Economics (or equivalent);
    5+ years’ experience as Accountant or similar job, with financial assets/credit risk background;
    Knowledge of IFRS principles, focusing on IFRS 9;
    Excellent functional skills and understanding of the overall accounting and closing processes;
    Highly motivated, goal oriented and ability to meet the deadlines in a challenging environment;
    Strong problem-solving and team working attitude;
    Proactivity and ability to reduce complexity and to find pragmatic solutions;
    Ability of creating connections between different subjects as well as of thinking without using predefined patterns;
    Interpersonal, communication and multi-cultural skills;
    Good negotiation skills with internal and externals counterparts, ability to build up trustful relationships in a multi-national context as well as in a client-centric way;
    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Word, Power Point);
    Fluent English, international minded.


    Collecting new/revised IFRS 9 business requirements by thoroughly understanding the business needs and related methodology;
    Leading the Moody's efferent configurations, ensuring consistency with IFRS 9 requirements as well as the group's accounting policies;
    Evaluating interdependencies and related impacts within the configurations currently existing in Moody's solutions and, together with the other POs, within the overall ecosystem of centralized solutions;
    Conducting requirements related to automated consistency checks positioned at the input to centralized solutions within its scope of work, with the aim of ensuring full correctness of centralized calculations;
    Leading and monitoring the various configuration phases and ensuring timely delivery of changes;
    Overseeing colleagues (Business and IT Support) in the management of incidents that can be reported by both business units and headquarters departments;
    Monitoring actively issues or any unplanned events that could cause a service interruption, reported to central applications;
    Analyzing problems proactively and proposing final or temporary solutions to ensure timely execution of the Group's processes;
    Monitoring proactively colleagues (Business Support and IT) in the management of service requests that can be raised by both business units and headquarters departments;
    Preparing, explaining and clarifying instructions applicable to the next reporting closure;
    Supervising the correct application of instructions; in cooperation with other POs, Business Support and IT colleagues, and headquarters business functions;
    Monitoring the IFRS 9 closure process and working with colleagues in Business Support to support business units to ensure timely execution of closure processes and procedures (e.g. providing clarification on specific points or questions, assisting with item reconciliation, etc.);
    Setting up and maintaining all relevant Moody's and Data Hub IFRS 9 documentation and training the application users.
