ROLE SUMMARY: LSEG and Microsoft have entered an exciting strategic partnership for the development of next-generation data, analytics and cloud infrastructure solutions. Our customers' needs are evolving and so are financial markets. This partnership will transform the way customers discover, analyse and trade securities around the world. It will also advance our cloud strategy and build the improved resilience, efficiency and agility that our customers need. All of Microsoft's customers will also have access to our data and analytics capabilities through a single flexible infrastructure that is intuitive and responsive. If you are interested in being a part of this dynamic strategic partnership, we look forward to considering your skills and experience Are you passionate about communication and learning? The Enterprise Engagement Manager will be responsible for defining and executing an exciting and unique communication and learning strategy for a population of 25,000 people to support their journey to the cloud. Our audience is not just the engineering community - but also the wider org. We will be delivering a far reaching and creative programme of work including: town halls, engagement weeks, workshops, pop up sessions, tech challenges, learning portals, and a very deeply orchestrated communication campaign which will include internal blogs, quiz days, knowledge portals and bots, a cartoon series, and more! This role is designed to support a program which will be creating a greenfield cloud platform, and then migrating over 1000 applications onto it. While that may sounds simple, it will require us to mobilize an entire workforce to change their ways of working, approach to migrations, and view on the cloud and what it means for them. This will be happening under the backdrop of some transformational client facing capabilities also being built - which are completely dependent on these migrations happening successfully. Microsoft is engaged - we are engaged - now we are looking for an Engagement Manager to help us orchestrate and delivery this communication and learning campaign. Could it be you? WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: This is a very exciting opportunity to create a high-profile campaign within an organisation who has a strong desire for change, but needs the knowledge to do so. This will be done along Microsoft as well as our internal LSEG corporate teams. o Learning - Working alongside Microsofts learning specialists and our own LSEG learning team - creating a set of learning resources to support our teams. This will include learning pathways, tooling to support the teams, knowledge bots, and synthetic cloud environments o Communication - Developing and executing a tightly orchestrated communication campaign that mobilizes our executive team as well as our SMEs to communicate to our wider organization. o Engagement - Developing engagement through the development of communities, engagement events and raising awareness and building excitement in the wider community. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: o An ability to work with a wide variety of people is vital. We will be working with people from several 3rd party companies as well as teams from across LSEG, both within Technology and beyond. As this role is a pivot point for the teams - and will be sharing their messages, and successes. We will be looking for someone with a calm, balanced approach to engagement o An understanding of technology - ideally of cloud computing, cloud migrations or similar. o Experience working within a large corporate environment where there are many teams involved in these sorts of activities. Your negotiation and influencing skills will come to bear as you pitch your ideas within the corporate context. o An upbeat, cheerful disposition always helps. It's important to be able to lighten the mood and have some fun along the way. o Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written. High quality output is expected at this level; the migration team publishes material for consumption by senior members of both LSEG and Microsoft. Presentation counts! o Experience, depth and gravitas. You've done this before (or something similar)- and understand that successful communications campaigns are closely orchestrated - and look effortless (although they aren't.) o A passion for "messaging" - and an appreciation with how valuable it is within a programme of this scale to provide consistent, consumable messages, which are backed by facts. o A willingness to collaborate and explore new ideas and concepts. This is an evolving programme and the answers you need may not always be available - you might need to help create them! o An appreciation that you will be working in a fast-paced, ever evolving environment - so flexibility is key!
