    The Supplies function in European markets manages sales via distributor/reseller/retailer go to markets. Key supplies products are ink and toner cartridges for Printers. The sales territory is divided into 4 key markets. We sell to the largest retailers and resellers across EMEA, a network of 100+ distributors selling to thousands of resellers and retailers.

    In this business planning role supporting the distribution sales community is important. Key to this role is Demand/ Supply matching in a market with over 80 distributors and 100 countries. Matching the demand and supply whilst balancing/optimizing the weeks of stock availability, inventory management and ensuring the right stock is in the right market for selling is key in this role.  We use sku level/distributor/country based insights to help drive decisions. The Business Analyst is working in the HP Pan-European, multicultural and multi country Distribution channel. They are responsible to offer the daily support to the Supplies Distribution Business Managers (DBM) of the region they are operating in. The main responsibilities include the below, but are not limited to only these points: - Support(/interaction) with a large audience covering different roles and departments within HP:

    • Supplies management engagement;
    • Distribution Business Managers reporting to sub regions/markets;
    • Business Management central team;
    • Sales Support Specialists;
    • Supply and planning team;
    • Finance department.
    - Offer support to Distribution Business Managers on programs and processes that are running in the region or/and at EU 4 level:
    • Plan, monitor and analyze the monthly, quarterly and yearly sales results;
    • Guidance on business plans;
    • Distribution Compensation Program (DCP);
    • Market share.
    - Create and enhance reports needed to drive business management but also training/offering guidance on:
    • Planning monthly and quarterly sales volumes;
    • Analyze and monitor sales figures;
    • Market share analysis;
    • Guiding and monitoring Distribution Business Managers on achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets;
    • Implementing and testing new reports, processes and/or reporting tools used in Distribution.
    Other responsibilities:
    • Supporting the business during quarter end period;
    • Analyze revenue achievement, identify gaps and propose solutions to mitigate them and assure target achievement;
    • Act as a liaison between DBMs, Central reporting teams and Operations channel;
    • Support and drive global initiatives in the region where planner is operating.
    Education and Experience Required:
    Typically 6-10 years work experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area. Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent. Knowledge and Skills:
    • Very strong email, virtual and face2face communication skills;
    • Fluent written and spoken English;
    • Very strong knowledge regarding Microsoft Office pack, particularly advanced Excel;
    • Ability to work in a team and share knowledge;
    • Have a structured approach towards solving tasks;
    • Excellent leader and communication skills;
    • Problem solving skills;
    • Strong analytical skills as well as reporting and analysis experience and skills;
    • Good conflict management skills;
    • Respect tight deadlines for tasks and/or providing  information required;
    • Ability to work in a multinational and multicultural environment;
    • Ability to work in a very flexible sales environment;
    • Provide qualitative results and information, ability to cope with high workload;
    • Knowledge of Power BI an advantage;
    • Knowledge about Distribution Channel an advantage;
    • Use of Channel DNA and reporting toolset an advantage.
