Purchasing Specialist

Education : Bachelor’s Degree
Work Experience : minimum 3 year
Job specific knowledge, skills and technical competencies : Microsoft Office, SAP/SRM
Behavioural Competencies : Communication, adaptive, team player, results focused
Language skills: English - upper intermediate; Turkish - as a plus.

Tracking and controlling the production plan and the orders entered daily in the system (SAP / MRP);
Elaboration of the parameters necessary for the acquisition of raw material and their optimization;
Supply of raw materials and materials in accordance with production planning;
Tracking delivery deadlines and quantities of materials imported from the supplier;
Prepares administrative documents for purchases;
Analyzes the purchase requests and proposes the best offer;
Tracks the supplier’s performance to achieve quality objectives, costs, deadlines, etc.
Management of requirements for new products and product modifications (lists of materials and operations);
Modification of the production plan in case of lack of materials, equipment capacity, or other problems that may occur during the execution of the plan;
Maintaining permanent contact with external customers / suppliers;
Involvement in organizing the logistics plan when it is necessary to request transport services from the supplier; Communication with the Production Department to ensure the most efficient use of equipment capacity, as well as communication with the Supply Department to ensure the availability of raw materials in order to achieve the production plan;
Updating suppliers data in the SAP program;
Online tracking of existing market prices and preparation periodic reports highlighting changes
Tasks are not limitative. They can be completed with other tasks necessary for the development of the activity in good conditions, by its supervisor and / or the company's management;
Complies with the Internal Regulations, the Collective Labor Agreement, the work schedule and any other regulations implemented by the company;
Strictly follows and complies with the rules and regulations of health, safety and environment;
Travels to any location required by his/her position and duties.
