Contract License Manager - IT (TM)

Job Description

• Representation of Group Sector Continental Automotive Technologies in License Management Community;
• Enforcement of actions towards compliance with the rules of the Software Asset Management (SAM) Policy on all levels within the respective Business Area, especially, but not limited to, to request relevant inventory data to compile license positions and compliance positions;
• Adaption of IT License Management strategy of Continental for Continental Automotive Technologies;
• Authority for all IT License Management matters on IT and on Business Area (BA) level;
• Definition of an adequate level of reports (scope, priority) and frequency, based on risk assessment and efficiency (effort and value-add);
• Software demand planning process (projects, negotiations, budget und forecast);
• Changes of software usage terms or contracts (e.g. changed software license metrics, changes from perpetual licenses to subscriptions, software bundles etc.);
• Mergers and Acquisition activities (M&A transactions), especially before contracting license metric terms;
• Demand management for the Business Area in conjunction with stakeholders;
• Support of internal customers and projects over the entire procurement process;
• Manage negotiation of contract conditions together with different stakeholders, like Purchasing, Legal, Controlling, Data Protection and Group IT Contracts & Licenses;
• Establish IT Contract Lifecycle Management, Regular reporting on IT contracts in Business Area;

• Studies completed in the field of economy or IT, alternatively completed commercial vocational training or comparable qualification;
• Initial professional experience, ideally in asset or license management;
• Experience in using reporting and analysis tools and databases;
• Oracle DB / Power BI Experience / Mathworks installation license configuration experience;
• Good knowledge of English / German desirable;
• Strong team and communication skills;
• Customer- and solution-oriented approach;
• Organization talent.
