SMY technical Compliance Representative - SMY (TM)

Job Description

The role of BA technical Compliance Representative will be newly introduced at SMY. The technical Compliance standards that are currently defined and rolled out at Continental need to be established in the BA. This is common task of SMY Quality and R&D.

The tC representative, reporting directly to the Head of SMY Q, is one of the key functions in this change process.

Your responsibilities:

• Management of technical Compliance concerns and risks according to defined Continental rules: detection, risk management and mitigation, reporting and tracking, recurrence prevention;
• Drive integration of tC aspects in relevant processes along the PLC together with process managers of R&D and project management;
• Introduce operational tC risk management in development projects in collaboration with Project Management Office;
• Identify systemic technical compliance risks;
• Moderating the tC network at SMY;
• Supporting the cultural change program with training and coaching;
• Interface to Group Sector tC Representative.

A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.

• Academic degree in Engineering or related field of study;
• Profound experience in the automotive industry with proven variety of businesses and functions;
• Multiple years of professional experience in the field of engineering, technical compliance and process management;
• Excellent communication and organizational skills as well as project management skills;
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams across locations on all management levels;
• Business fluent English language skills written and spoken, German is not mandatory.
