Job Description

Check out your future responsibilities below:
- Working on projects within the areas of automated driving;
- Definition of architecture and concepts for software projects in driving assistance applications;
- Determine and document the resource consumption objectives for all software components;
- Specify the SW modules regarding their interfaces to other SW modules and the requirements;
- Consider consequences out of the safety and cybersecurity requirements;
- Actively support the development team with reviews, analysis and coaching in relevant issues;
- Work with customers, stakeholders, and 3rd party suppliers to define the SW Architecture;
- Support in planning, definition, estimation, and prioritization of work packages;
- Support new project acquisitions with own ideas and expertise;
- Participate in internal and external audits.
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable field of study;
- Professional experience in software development is mandatory;
- Knowledge of software architectures of embedded systems;
- Knowledge of software development processes (V-Model, Agile/SCRUM, ASPICE) and requirement management;
- Knowledge of functional safety (example ISO 26262) and cyber security (example ISO/SAE 21434);
- Good knowledge of developing and debugging C/C++ software;
- Knowledge of automotive BUS systems (example: Ethernet, CAN, CAN FD);
- Knowledge of communication protocol (example: SPI, I2C, UART);
- Basic knowledge of understanding electronics schematics;
- Analytical thinking and communication skills;
- Capability to take initiative and deal with ambiguity;
- Ability to specify state charts, flow charts, sequence diagrams;
- Team player with intercultural social skills;
- Fluent in both oral and written English;
- Passion for software and personal commitment.
Desirable Skills/Qualifications:
- Professional experience in automotive embedded SW architecture and embedded operating systems (example RTOS, AUTOSAR) and functional safety (ASIL)<li> Working experience in different disciplines;
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR BSW components and MCAL;
- Experience with Source Code Management ( GIT and GitHub, IMS);
- Experience with requirements management tool (example Doors);
- Experience with BUS monitoring tools (example CANoe);
- Experience with tools for designing diagrams (example Visio, Rhapsody, Doxygen);
- Knowledge and experience in agile project development.
