Job Description
- As the Electrical Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of engineers in the successful execution of various embedded system projects. Your key responsibilities will include;
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, set objectives, and establish milestones to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth project execution from start to finish;
- Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal project performance. Monitor resource utilization and make necessary adjustments to meet project requirements and deadlines;
- Budget and Cost Control: Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and ensure adherence to financial targets. Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to maximize project efficiency and profitability;
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement appropriate measures to ensure project success and stakeholder satisfaction;
- Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements, address concerns, and provide regular project updates. Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (advanced degree preferred);
- Proven experience in project management within the electrical engineering industry, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget;
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles, systems, and technologies;
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary teams;
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels;
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
