Technical Delivery Manager, driving the delivery as well as maintaining and developing plans for the Analytics Technology Business within LSEG. Focus on driving delivery of plans which extend and modernise existing services and application, leverage cloud technologies to realize business goals, support growth with improve performance and efficiency.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Drive large complex Analytics Programmes and change roadmaps within the Analytics Business delivering value incrementally by operating in an agile environment.
Provides technical programme management to manage change roadmap for Analytics Technology key deliveries including requirements analysis, business case creation, planning and execution.
Working with cross functional team driving for business outcomes through working in collaboration with the business and functions, holding ultimate accountability for delivery, managing programmes with great complexity, impact, risk, budget variances and change requests.
Accountability for managing delivery issues through to resolution.
Align the programme to the strategic direction of the Analytics Business and Technology portfolio, ensuring prioritisation of key projects and creating proposals around delivery improvements.
Estimate timeline and resources for complex projects and collaborate with other teams to bring projects to the finish line.
Produce reports for senior management and stakeholders on the progress of the programme against goals and plans, highlighting any improvement areas and the requirements to correct them.
Establish credibility & build deep relationships with senior technical staff to build credible plans.
Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager to ensure the programmes achieve goals and aligns with business priorities of the Analytics area and Data and Analytics more broadly.
Key behaviours and skills:
- Project management qualification and significant post qualification experience
- Experience in programme management
Minimum requirements:
- 10+ years' work experience in Programme Management
- 6+ years' experience in projects leadership role.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Good Communication, organization, and coordination skills.
- Proven experience working with global team - multi-site, multi time zone.
- Experience communicating with product teams, project stakeholders.
- Technical ability
- Analytics market/industry knowledge preferable
- Degree or equivalent
Key Relationships:
- Reporting to Director of Analytics Portfolio and Business Management
- Product Management and other key stakeholders
- Developers and Development Management
Desired Skills:
- Strong Analytics Delivery background
- Knowledge of Fixed Income Securities/Markets is a plus
