Product Owner/Service Owner for AI & Data Engineering Applications - IT (TM)

Job Description

The Product Owner / Service Owner will be responsible for architecture, maintenance and upcoming service portfolio requirements around AI & data engineering applications.

In this position you take over the management of stakeholder services provided for a fast-growing engineering discipline. With a service, that is built on state of the art and cloud-native technologies, we build the foundation for many services to come that will support our engineers working on AI & data engineering products in our automotive business areas.

Your responsibilities will include the communication and alignment with all automotive stakeholders and customers within our central functions and the business areas. You will plan the implementation of improvements to the service and respond to customers within the scaled agile framework (SAFe) including our Continental IT service management (ITSM) standards.

Furthermore, it will be your responsibility to coordinate and ensure a reliable service operation and delivery according to the service level agreements (SLAs) together with the service team. You will forecast demands, costs and required working capacity for the future of the services and administrate the resources for the service accordingly.

Your key responsibilities are:

• Operational coordination of the provided services in the area of AI & data engineering;
• Planning and driving continuous improvement of provided services solutions;
• Working in agile environments with distributed development teams;
• Fulfillment of service requests and mitigations of incidents within the service team;
• Implementing and following ITSM processes in the company to ensure reliable service delivery according to the service level agreements (SLAs);
• Capacity planning for AI & data engineering services;
• Overview and planning of costs/budget for the provided service;
• Communication with stakeholders and customers in business areas and central functions.

• Academic degree in computer science, engineering or an equivalent qualification;
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in the field of IT;
• Working knowledge of software development methodologies;
• Experience in IT Service Management (e.g. ITIL);
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence and in automotive is considered a plus;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Interested in AI & Data Engineering trends;
• Experience in Agile methodologies (e.g Scrum);
• Fluent English language skills (spoken and written).
