Experienced VAT Compliance Specialist for Romania

Who we're looking for:

- University Degree;
- 2-3 years of working experience in Tax and/or Accounting with a good grasp of VAT concepts;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (focus on Excel);
- Excellent command of Romanian and English - both speaking and writing;
- Team player with a supportive attitude ;
- Analytical thinker with an eye for details;
- Well-organized, able to plan and juggle with priorities;
- Eager to acquire in-depth VAT knowledge

Your future role:

- Process and review VAT data/ledgers received from our clients ;
- Prepare and review VAT reporting packages compliant with the Romanian law;
- Identify potential VAT issues and summarize them to our clients by email;
- Make sure that the deadlines are met;
- Support business development efforts - draft proposals, prepare for client meetings/calls, etc.;
- Help with the development and customization of our VAT apps;
- Assist clients during VAT audits conducted by tax authorities;
- Train and coach junior staff;
- Monitor legislative updates.
