    Job Description

    Are you excited and have the desire to be part of an experienced team who plan and design automation solutions for automated processes? 

    What You'll Do: 

    • Research, develop and install automation solutions for machinery or software applications;
    • Troubleshoot automation errors and bugs;
    • Communicate with colleagues to identify areas for automation and optimizatio; 
    • Develop, and debug structured, documented, maintainable, and reusable PLC code that interacts with subsystems such as conveyors, robots, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), machine vision, and third-party equipment. 
    Qualifications

    Skills You'll Need to Have

    • Continuing higher education or certifications in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent developer educational courses or related discipline;  
    • Interest in concepts including continuous integration, continuous improvement, reproducibility, traceability etc;
    • Eagerness to learn automation and more.  

    A plus if you have

    • Knowledge of PLC's, HMI's, and debugging mechatronic systems;
    • Knowledge and understanding electrical drawings;
    • Knowledge of control systems, including PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems;
    • Experience programming at least two distinct types of PLCs and motor controllers, such as Siemens, Festo, Beckhoff, or SEW;
    • Familiarity with robotics programming, such as Robot Operating System, and experience with industrial robots (e.g., ABB, Kuka, Mitsubishi);
    • Understanding of communication protocols like Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and OPC UA for communication between automation devices;
    • Strong use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
    • Positive attitude to achieve goals and deliver results.
