Senior Windows Engineer

Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

• Detailed knowledge of Windows Server operating systems from 2008 --> 2022
• Understanding of core windows technologies, DNS, DHCP, DFS.
• Knowledge of change process and ITIL processes
• Translates business requirements into technical requirements and infrastructure needs by sourcing data and undertaking appropriate analyses
• Makes technical design and amendment decisions with limited supervision
• Ensures relevant reporting documentation is completed and complies with internal and external standards
• Project management experience and ability to prioritise multiple workloads
• Manages upgrades and coordinates internal and third parties where required
• Creates accurate documentation and monitors system performance to effectively contribute to business and continuous improvement activities
• Supports in deploying emergent engineering patterns across development teams
• Understands the how different aspects of the organisation's technology intersect

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an IT related discipline
• Previous experience in Architecture / Engineering
• Experience in technology-based roles
