    Qualifications

    • University degree in Control Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications, Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, or comparable;
    • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in developing, testing and/or releasing software products in automotive area;
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in leading medium/large software teams (minimum 15 team members);
    • Relevant experience in working in high-performant agile software teams (Scrum Master or Product Owner represents a plus);
    • Solid expertise with agile methodologies, living the agile mindset (i.e., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.);
    • Very good communication, problem-solving, and excellent people management skills;
    • Capable to inspire, motivate and lead the people;
    • Experience in interviewing and hiring as well as competence management, able to work in a rapidly growing environment;
    • Ability to handle tasks flexibly and good coordination skills;
    • Self-motivation and responsible way of working;
    • Innovative and critical thinking;
    • Eagerness to work with modern technologies and understand complex systems and tools;
    • Proficiency in English is a must;
    • German language skills would be a plus;

    Job Description

    We are currently looking for a Technical Lead Engineer to work within our Vehicle Model library (VeMoX) development team.

    As a Technical Lead Engineer in our Powertrain Solutions department, you will be part of our team which has full responsibility on the development of vehicle model libraries consisting of components & topologies in the form of high-quality physics and databased models, needed to develop and test powertrain related control units, in real time on standard hardware in loop test systems.

    VeMoX comes with a set of highly automated tools to create a specific model out of this library.

    In your role you will:

    • Work with state-of-the-art testing environments (SIL, MIL, HIL, Virtualization, etc.) for software and systems used in the Automotive industry;
    • Design, implement and roll-out all vehicle system models needed to develop and test powertrain related control units. This includes models of physical components as well as simplified simulation models of control units (i.e., injection systems, thermal management, exhaust systems, battery systems, etc.);
    • Coordinate, plan and manage the activities of project teams developing solutions for various Powertrain systems (i.e., internal combustion engines, fuel cells, battery systems, inverters, etc.); 
    • Contribute with creative ideas for automating the software and system tests in the direction of obtaining a continuous testing environment for classic and future drive technologies;
    • Develop and prioritize solutions based on present and future concepts, in close cooperation with our internal national and international development partners from different domains (HW, SW, System, and Test);
    • Follow and implement Agile best practices within the team;
    • Maintain a close cooperation with our world-wide partners, expanding your professional network within our company and beyond;
    • You will manage the business requirements from our stakeholders and make sure that their different needs are being addressed and fulfilled;
    • You will figure out the strategic directions, proposing new development directions for future business opportunities;
    • You will be responsible for the competence development within the group, providing career progression planning, define the individual targets, establish learning plans, organize trainings, evaluate employees, coach, and motivate team members;
    • You will take responsibility for the organization ramp-up and the recruitment related activities;
    • You will be part of the Bosch Global Leadership team and you will be a key factor in reaching our goals;
