    We are seeking a Technical Lead Software Engineer with strong experience in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js and C++ to join our team responsible of building integrated solutions for Microsoft Office users.

    Our Microsoft Office add-in gives Refinitiv Workspace users an unmatched financial data and intuitive UIs to make smart decisions in daily business.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code based on requirements
    • Develop software using disciplined software development principles and lead and coach the team on the same
    • Create unit tests and integration tests to ensure software meets requirements
    • Architect new systems, or reuse existing systems that drive complex applications
    • Ensures responsiveness for applications and services
    • Identify and resolve performance and stability issues
    • Supervises a team and co-ordinates work for large development deliverables
    • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
    • Collaborate with Product Managers, UX team, and Software Engineers to deliver best-in-class product
    • Work closely with the Quality Engineering team to ensure the high quality of the deliverables
    • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
    • Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages

    Essential Skills and Experience Required

    • 6+ years experience in JavaScript/ TypeScript, Node.js
    • 2+ years experience in C++
    • Solid technical background with understanding of programming styles, frameworks, design patterns and unit testing
    • Strong experience in CI/CD, unit testing frameworks, automation (testing/deployment)
    • Experienced with Agile methodologies, Scrum
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
    • Attention to details

    Desired Skills and Experience Required

    • Experience in Office.js
    • Familiar with RESTful interfaces

    Key Relationships

    • Primary - will be with the Development Manager, Development team, Quality Engineering Team, SCRUM Master, Product Owner, and Business Experts assigned to projects
    • Secondary - with other LSEG staff
