PURPOSE:
The Business Manager works across Cyber Security (CS), providing support by facilitating efficiency and smooth operation of the function. They will support operating mechanisms that allow for clear communication, information flow and collaboration across the wider organisation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Support and maintain a unified view of resources, working with CS Business Partners and unit leaders.
- Work with the CoE BMc to drive performance and align Business Management (BM) within the wider Technology division.
- Identify and implement tools and processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Produce monthly reports and KPIs as a key enabler for driving delivery of the Technology Strategic objectives, improved transparency, decision making, and better governance, with focus on automation and simplification
- Act as an integrator and champion of culture. Connecting siloes, supporting collaboration and workstreams to drive organisation change and delivery of outcomes.
- Owns business management processes and tools for Cyber Security, implementing best practices and training as required.
- Drives Business Management communications across Cyber Security.
- Work with Governance team (GRC), CISO and Business Partners to improve governance and compliance.
- Work with CISO, GRC, Strategy and Engagement teams to define, implement and own the overall Cyber Security communications strategy.
- Other ad hoc BM duties as well as Programmes team support where appropriate.

- CS business unit leaders
SKILLS AND PROFICIENCY:
- Continuous improvement, business analysis and partnership.
- Ability to discuss and reach agreement to create outcomes, overcome ambiguity and opposing team goals.
- Ability to effectively deal with ad hoc reporting requests
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Stakeholder management.
- Microsoft suite. Basic knowledge of project management tools including Clarity.
EXPERIENCE:
- Prior business operations experience gained through a similar role preferably within Technology delivery and or Financial Services
- Demonstrated understanding of organisational management and structures.
- Demonstrated understanding of departmental/internal communications or marketing within divisions and organisations.
- Basic understanding of operational cost model including resource management costs
- Events Management experience an advantage
- Mergers & Acquisition and transformation environments an advantage
