RF LF Vehicle Application Engineer for Wireless Communication Products (TM)

Do you want to be a RF/LF Vehicle Application Engineer? These should spark your interest : 
The RF/LF Vehicle Application Engineer is actively involved in understanding, supporting, guiding and testing on system level the RF/LF performances of our products inside a vehicle and can drive local calibration on customer site for new vehicles.
General responsibilities and tasks:

•   Preparation of the vehicles for the measurements and perform LF/RF validation according to validation plan;
•   Responsibility for the zone parametrization during the vehicle measurements and delivery of the configuration file;
•   Coordination of the validation with the customer (vehicle availability)  and internal contacts (availability of test sites, equipment or other resources);
•   Presentation of the measurement report  and project related technical content to the customer;
•   Responsibilty for the LF validation plan for the projects;
•  - Drive interdisciplinary investigations to find root cause in case of a reduction of the RF/LF performance on product level;
•   Can propose countermeasures and discussions with the other disciplines to finalize any troubleshooting;
•   Able to execute the RF integration measurements on product level;
•   Responsibility for the tool and procedure definition for the RF integration.

We are looking for a candidate that has the following mandatory requirements:

•  Technical University degree (Electronics & Telecommunications/ Computer science & automation);
• Very good English skills in writing, reading and speaking;
• Good capabilities of understanding radiofrequency techniques;
• Experience in wireless technologies or services (radiofrequency knowhow);
• Able to travel to customer sites or Continental development locations.

Would be a plus:

• Previous experience in RF/LF measurement techniques;
• Previous experience in system level related services (design, testing,integration);
• Able to work independently and make fact base decisions;
• Intercultural sensitivity and good networking skills.
