    We are currently looking for an experienced candidate with a mix of expertise in audit, process management and/or internal control roles in global organizations, being able to understand and assess complex processes, from different business areas to join our Internal Audit Team, as Senior Internal Auditor.

    What you will do:

    • Effectively plan operational, compliance and financial internal audits, in line with the approved Annual Internal Audit Plan (or ad hoc requests from senior management, if the case).
    • Lead audit engagements throughout all its phases, from the objectives setting, risk assessment, planning, execution and communication, under the supervision of Internal Audit Manager.
    • Conduct preliminary risk assessments to understand the control environment, including key risks and controls, and document the understanding of key processes, using narratives and process flowcharts. Develop and adapt audit programs and procedures to address identified risks and execute audit reviews in accordance with the defined objectives and Internal Audit methodology. Be able to identify the root causes of deficiencies and to define suitable potential solutions, providing constructive feedback.
    • Document own working papers that truly reflect all activities performed, communicating key findings, risks, impacts and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to management and the Audit Manager.
    • Review working papers of auditors allocated on the job, if the case, in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring all the time compliance with the defined planning (activities and timeline).
    • Document a comprehensive and detailed audit report for every engagement, ensuring that findings and recommendations are clearly defined and communicated to management. Present conclusions of the audit report in the Closing Meetings to all relevant stakeholders, including Top Management
    • Perform and/or coordinate periodic follow up on open audit findings to assess the adequacy and efficiency of corrective actions defined and declared as implemented by the process/activity owners
    • Execute special projects as assigned, including consultancy and forensic.
    • Supervise and coach experts in the team.
    Desired education, expertise, and skills:
    • Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in internal and/or external audit;
    • Experience in similar business area will be a significant plus (Energy, Oil&Gas, etc);
    • Fluency in Business English (writing and speaking);
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
    • Knowledge of auditing standards;
    • Ability to work independently, with limited supervision;
    • Ability to coach and coordinate less experienced colleagues, teamwork;
    • Problem-solving skills, high attention to detail;
    • Excellent communication skills;
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks;
    • Continuous improvement mindset and very good analytical and organizational skills, to lead projects and work under strict deadlines;
    • High motivation and proactive professional approach, with strong interpersonal skills to deal with various stakeholders at different levels in the Company;
    • Ability to clearly communicate findings and recommendations to process owners and senior management.
