Professional, precise communication skills;
Experience in performance analysis, backup and maintenance of 24/7 available databases;
Profound knowledge in database administration;
Fast comprehension combined with a structured, analytical and goal-oriented way of working;
You are a hands-on type - meaning you are assertive, action-oriented, goal-oriented;
An agile mind set and interest in the latest developments in the various IT areas;
Desire for self-development and strong will to undergo and tackle new topics;
At least 5-year experience in DB Administration for – Oracle (12c – 19c, MySQL);
Knowledge of server operating systems (Linux);
Confident handling of tools and methods (ITIL, Scrum, SAFe) is a plus;
A high degree of responsibility, quality awareness and team spirit;
Good communication skills in English;
German language is a plus;
Cloud knowledge is a plus.

As part of an agile team, you will be responsible for the coordination, planning and deployment of database systems, solving new issues and act as an interface between infrastructure deployment and application support. You directly support the developers with your operational expertise.

One of the most interesting part of your responsibility is that you will have the chance to create and shape the Database infrastructure based on your own innovative ideas. You would be collaborating with other experts in achieving that. You will not be doing only standard tasks, but you will have the freedom to create your own solution, be heavily involved in management decisions and be the main part of the decisions that are made for the customer.

Your tasks include:

Analysis of the specifics of the database infrastructure belonging our customer’s applications;
Implementation and creation of technical concepts which will serve the operational teams;
Technical consulting and contact person for our customers and application vendors
Stakeholder management across different hierarchy levels;
Support on different customer levels in technology and investment decisions.
