    Data analyst is responsible to collect & analyze the data reported in local languages (Russian, Portuguese, Italian and Nordics) from several platforms available in public domain such as company websites, stock exchanges, press releases, annual reports, quarterly reports & CSR reports.

    Analyst should have a basic understanding of Financial Markets & terminologies, local stock exchanges, mandatory documents published by a listed company & knowledge on basic identifiers of an Entity (RIC, Sedol etc).

    Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

    • To be responsible for database administration and sourcing of exchange and contributed data.
    • Take responsibility for data quality, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness within the team.
    • To be up to date with the latest collection policies and procedures and other significant developments pertaining to different markets which would impact data collection
    • To take on the responsibility of resolving client queries in a timely manner, with very high standards of quality of response and customer satisfaction. Should be able to take right decisions quickly and independently.
    • To continuously suggest improvement ideas on collection tools, internal processes and should suggest permanent fixes as well as on-going actions for preventing client queries.
    • To carry out special projects or specialized tasks related to the datasets as per the strategic plans.
    • To effectively collaborate with all global team and the data provider to provide high quality data to our clients.
    • Use technical and financial knowledge to add value to current data offering.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree or master's degree
    • Certifications on Language will be an added advantage

    Language Skills:

    • Excellent reading skills across at least 1 language - Nordics (preferred Swedish)
    • Writing/Speaking skills will be an added advantage - Nordics (preferred Swedish)
    • Excellent reading, writing and spoken English skill
    • Added Advantage on Language certification

    Computer Skills

    • Adept in MS Applications - Excel, Outlook, Word, PPT.
    • Knowledge on SQL, Access, Python will be an added advantage but not mandatory.
