We are currently looking for a proactive and mature professional, with previous hands-on experience in an industrial environment, good communication, presentation and English skills to join our Health and Safety Team, as Health and Safety Officer.

What you will do:

• Ensure the Business Energy Solutions unit is legally compliant with all health and safety legislation.
• Coordinate the activity of the OHS-SU Service within the ENGIE Building Solutions company.
• Design, maintain or update health & safety processes and procedures in accordance with the law and ENGIE group regulations for all categories of operational activities;
• Establish the specific HS plans for each typology of activities and any industrial project taking into account and applying ENGIE policies, local regulations, customer policies and contractors' and subcontractors' plans.
• Ensure the interface with the other organizational entities, provide support in achieving the objectives and improving the performance of the HSS system, systematically or on request, creating a strong environment for sharing good practices and "lessons learned".
• Supervise the audits related to the management policy and ensure the requirements of the ISO 450001:2018 standards are met.
• Ensure the verification and auditing (assessment) of all parties involved in projects (contractors, subcontractors, suppliers of materials, equipment and services).
• Organize events with the aim of promoting and educating the work force regarding a good HSS culture and good shared practices.
• Review and identify the specific training needs for the different categories of employees to achieve the mandatory requirements and those related to unusual tasks.
• Ensure the training materials, organize and lead the trainings, work documents and records of the trained personnel.
• Prepare materials and communicate educational messages for the employees.
• Lead the inspections and investigation of the causes that led to accidents (when applicable).
• Organize the meetings of the Occupational Health and Safety Committee.

• Higher technical education;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in health and safety in an industrial environment;
• Labor protection inspector course;
• Postgraduate course "Assessor of risks of accidents and occupational diseases" for a total of minimum 180 hours;
• Emergency situations management course (civil protection and fire protection);
• Advanced knowledge of English;
• Driving license;
• Good communication and relationship skills;
• Organized and proactive person.
