Sr. Maintenance Engineer

Technical University Degree;
Relevant work experience (min 5 years) in maintenance of industrial equipment, mechanical, automation field;
Good understanding of equipment automation in industry.
Machining purposes – turning, milling, drilling, grinding and their related computerized controls (CNC, PLC, HMI) in correlation with mechanical response - would be considered a plus.
Strong computer literacy - Office platform (Excel, Power Point), programming skills (PLC programming), SAP knowledge would be considered an asset;
English language proficiency both written and spoken;
Good organizing skills and ability to coordinate work of maintenance crafts to maximize machine uptime;
Strong problem solving skills;Results driven and team player.

Manage and lead reliability efforts through predictive maintenance program and equipment condition audits to prevent recurring problems in key support equipment;
Assist operations personnel with daily process problem solving, by identifying and correcting the root cause instead of continuing to address the reoccurring issue.
Provides the engineering background and experience necessary to offer support to plant production, quality control, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
Lead and coordinate the activity of facilitating improvements in the maintenance activity.
Identify and manage major projects from the design phase to completion including management of technical and non-technical resources.
Coach and mentor maintenance associates to ensure proper understanding of identifying corrective equipment issues.
Develop and manage external resources to support project work beyond internal capabilities; maintain relations with the servicing companies or equipment manufacturers and escalates for troubleshooting whenever issues go beyond his expertise.
Prepare and communicate financial justification of process and equipment improvement projects. Support the company in increasing profitability by managing resources efficiently and making necessary recommendations.Reporting and analysis of maintenance KPI’s: breakdown analysis, cost evaluation, equipment reliability, OEE monitoring, and analysis. Use maintenance reports to plan and execute corrective work, assist in project execution, and recommend actions to improve equipment reliability.
