● Proven sales/fundraising track record;
● Market knowledge B2B;
● Skilled and confident in building interpersonal relationships;
● Must be comfortable interacting with external members and high-profile donors;
● Knowledgeable in database systems and the creation and use of spreadsheets and related tools;
● Experience in high volume outbound, sales preferred;
● Reliable and an exceptional communicator;
● Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation;
● Knowledgeable with an appreciation for campaigning within an education organization;
● Experience working within a team to achieve a shared objective;
● Ability to achieve monthly goals and stay motivated;
● Advocacy, customer success, and/or fundraising experience are a plus;
● Availability for national business trips (visit business partners);
● High degree of responsibility, persistence, flexibility and proactivity;
● High level of work ethics and honesty.
● Represent, enhance, and promote the NGO's brand positively, professionally, and effectively;
● Contact existing, potential, and former donors to develop relationships and secure financial funding;
● Implement, develop and/or coordinate all activities related to account and relationship development: research and profiling, campaign briefing/execution, briefing and facilitating conversations with the project team;
● Meet & exceed fundraising targets set by leadership;
● Input donor information, and data capture while ensuring close attention to detail and accurate recording on databases & spreadsheets;
● Document feedback and/or complaints to share internally and ensure follow-up and resolution;
● Ensure that all data is handled in accordance with data protection legislation and financial good practice;
● Drive/implement/oversee the fundraising process for dedicated prospects and accounts, from lead generation to closing, to ensure funding and long term relationships;
● Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and forecasts.
● Full time schedule;
● The job implies a mix of external meetings, meetings with the team at the office;
● Job may imply travels up until 3 consecutive days;
● Possibility of participating to courses, trainings and seminars free of charge.
