UX Development Intern - Waters Corporation

We are currently seeking a motivated and talented student for an internship program to contribute to supporting our innovative projects within the Waters Digital Product Design group.  
In this role you will work as a part of the Digital Product Design team to further define our Design system for multiple products, related to the pharmaceutical and medical industries. The position would suit a person with the intellectual horsepower, drive and enthusiasm for defining and developing a systems approach to product development in a rapidly growing design environment. 
 
You will be part of our 2023 Global Intern Program and will be invited to attend virtual Power Hour sessions, roundtables hosted by members of our Executive Committee as well as joining local events on the site you are based. This is a superb opportunity to learn more about Waters and the variety of roles we offer as well as learning more about the Life Sciences industry. You will be allocated a mentor alongside joining teams passionate about the work we do! 
 
This position is hybrid and will require you to be on site 2 days per week, with 3 days working off site. We operate flexible working and will do our best to accommodate your flexible working needs! 
Responsibilities

During your internship you will be working in the Digital Product Design area based in Brasov, RO and completing a set of projects and tasks which will involve, but are not limited to: 
 
Junior development tasks including development collaboration and team participation on Design System backlog 
Digital Product Design team internal initiatives, research and presentation 
 
Qualifications

Areas of study: Web component development, computer science or related field, experience developing for web, software, mobile and/or other UI scenarios and knowledge of design software – Figma, Adobe, etc – a plus
