    The organization's activity has been extensive since 1948, through volunteer projects, internships and international teaching campaigns to support a multicultural understanding of the world. AIESEC's activity is led by young enthusiasts from all over the world in order to develop the leadership potential of young people through challenging experiences.

    AIESEC is a non-profit organization that offers volunteering opportunities that are meant to impact the world and develop soft skills and hard skills.
    Job Description: Week 1

    • Onboarding space with opportunity provider representative to understand the context and urgent needs of the community regarding climate change
    • Analyse country and local issues regarding climate change.
    • Create and preparatory material for the sessions,dynamics and workshops of the following weeks.
    • Determine measure of outcome system and material to be use
    Week 2
    • Introductory session with the beneficiaries, presentation of the volunteers and project objectives.
    • Documentary viewings about climate change.
    • Round table: Discuss the causes and effects of climate change with the students.
    • Lab practice: Practical demonstration of greenhouse effect.
    • Let participants do research on how climate change has affected their community (sea level rise, temperature rise, desertification etc.)
    Week 3
    • Round table: Discussion and sharings about each participants countries reality about climate action initiatives
    • Workshop: The 3 R's of ecology
    • Round table: Use the Climate Change Scorecard to discuss ways to reduce greenhouse gas pollution at home and at school.
    • Practice: Ask students if they can think of other ways to save energy, reduce pollution or remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Add their ideas to the scorecard.
    Week 4
    • Workshop: Carbon footprint and the Butterfly Effect of our daily lifestyle choices to Climate Change
    • Round Table: Let people calculate their current carbon footprint based on their lifestyle
    • Workshop: Alternatives for carb footprint. How to be more sustainable at home?
    • Practice: Together with the students run a climate awareness events for social media. You can think on a catchy hashtag and encourage students to use their platforms to share knowledge. In case of no internet, you can run a one day physical awareness campaign
    Week 5
    • Fieldwork: Plant a tree or garden at school, help your school become โ€œgreenerโ€
    • Create a competition/challenge for participants to change their lifestyle (recycling, composting etc
    • Build an "Ambassadorship Program" to carryout the activities for next phases to keep long lasting sustainable practices in the school.
    • "Earth Hour" Session (WWF). Stopping every activity for an hour.
    Week 6
    • Closing space with beneficiaries.
    • Collect data from project beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
    • Analyse data to determinate outcome results.
    • Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
