Job role The Accounting Operations Specialist will strengthen the Accounting Team of Allianz Technology SAS and will ensure and set up efficient and compliant workflows to guarantee high quality for the transactions an processes within Accounting. Responsibilities

    • Manage accounts payable process (from spending authorization to contract production support) both for purchase orders and non-purchase order process and support the local French team 
    • Account reconciliations (. vendor accounts, customer accounts, interim accounts)  
    • Open items aging analyze and follow ups incl. solving of old items and vendor/customer contact if the case  
    • Coordination of the parking accountants and invoices  
    • Escalation Point for parking accountants for AP related topics 
    • Investigate credit balance on customer accounts and contact the internal customers for confirmation and bank details  
    • Check and make revenue accrual bookings 
    • Customer focus, keep customers informed and provide applicable information;  
    • Reconciliation on debtor and vendor accounts 
    • Participation at the preparation of monthly/quarterly and year end closing (IFRS/HGB) in accordance with the Allianz Technology SE reporting calendars;  
    • Continuous enhancement of data quality on a global level by developing and analyzing meaningful KPI’S
    Requirements
    • Good knowledge of AP/AR Processes; 
    • University degree in economics, finance or related field;  
    • Good experience with SAP FI accounting systems; 
    • Fluent in English, good communication skills (German or another European language is a plus).  
    • 2+ years of experience in AP/AR accounting

    • Team player with strong interpersonal, intercultural, communication and organizational skills;
    • Attention to detail with ability to think in processes and ensure deliverables are connected with operating plans;
    • Strong ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize tasks to meet deadlines;
    • Self-motivated and proven “can do” attitude.
