    Check out your future responsibilities below:

    • Leading worldwide strategic planning for Operations including capacity planning, location decisions, industrialization projects and capital requests
    • Define project teams and lead multi-national operations projects
    • Creating business case scenarios for production capacity planning 
    • Coordinate activities with Target Costing and Business Controlling to optimize our operational footprint
    • Preparing management decisions and initiate capital requests
    • Early involvement (Gate 20) in Product Life Cycle and release authority from Operations during quote phase
    • Coordinate change management within Operations
    • Ensure adherence of spending and approval budget
    • Leading and coordinating worldwide operational performance tracking with all plants and initiate projects to achieve budget and strategic KPIs
    • Define ramp-up curves and continuous improvements for all production lines in alignment with the Plants, Business <li>Controlling and Central IE
    • Leading structured performance tracking based on quotations, budget and capital requests 
    • Developing countermeasures together with Plants and Central IE in case of deviations and following-up on defined actions
    • Coordinate equipment and shopfloor management related performance improvement projects
    • Supporting budget planning process and defining targets in alignment with the 5 years strategic planning
    Qualifications

    Essential Skills/Qualifications:

    Besides being awesome and passionate, you need to have: 

    • University Degree (i.e., Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Business Administration, etc.)
    • 5 Years' experience in automotive industry
    • Financial knowledge about production cost and investment calculation
    • Good technical understanding for production processes and concepts
    • Entrepreneurial & Business understanding 
    • Strong ownership and willingness to take responsibility
    • Proactive and open communication skills 
    • International project management experience 
    • English advanced knowledge
    • German language appreciated
