Economist Gestiune Stocuri (Senior Accountant Inventory)

We are looking for an experienced colleague to join our Inventory Team as a Senior Inventory Accountant.

You can be our Senior Inventory Accountant if you have:

• Hands-on experience in general accounting;
• Strong accounting knowledge of RAS & IFRS for inventory accounting- required;
• Involved in month-end closing activities;
• Experience with IAS 2 SAP – FI experience;
• Proficiency in MS Office and English language.

• Ensure relevant AP/Inventory bookkeeping and checks, verification of records, reconciliation, adjustments, accounts balance;
• Maintain accurate inventory counts for multiple inventory locations;
• Supervise accurate booking of transactions related to inventory;
• Perform monthly closing activities according to the reporting calendar (RAS and IAS);
• Perform inventory reconciliation monthly;
• Ensure full compliance for local and IFRS requirements for inventories;
• Prepare dedicated analyses, benchmarking and reports related to organization financial performance, including ICF;
• Maintain permanent contact with METRO partners in order to reconcile suppliers' balances;
• Collaborate with other accountants and financial staff in the company to provide financial and accounting support to other stakeholders and department heads;
• Lead Projects in the area of Inventory.
