    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance test analyst with a background in financial software/markets/instruments.
    Working within the UnaVista team, part of a leading UK investment and financial services company, you will be responsible for the QA of regulatory, post trade, reconciliation and data solutions.

    To be successful in this job, you should have previous software testing experience and a confirmed software delivery background preferably within some of the following areas:

    • Regulatory reporting - e.g. MiFIR, EMIR (and ideally knowledge of regulations from ESMA, FCA and other Regulators and Venues)
    • Post trade services - e.g. trade confirmations, clearing
    • Matching and reconciliation - Trade Repository / Regulator
    • Due to the nature of the UnaVista Platform and Solutions, technical knowledge and experience will expedite your acclimatization to this position.


    Key Responsibilities

    • QA testing the UnaVista Solutions as per the defined requirements, assisting with the creation of documents in conjunction with other Scrum team members.
    • Complete the internal QA testing (and client facing user acceptance testing), applying appropriate change control practices to mitigate scope creep and overall project risk.
    • Involved in refinement and improvement of QA processes with the purpose of growing control and efficiency.

    Candidate Profile / Key Skills

    • 2+ years working as a QA professional, ideally with experience at either a financial software vendor or financial institution, and Higher education ideally in Computer Sciences
    • Familiar with Agile methodology
    • Knowledge of SQL (beginner level)
    • ISTQB Foundation certificate or higher testing certification would be a plus
    • Java and Selenium knowledge would be a plus
    • Good financial industry knowledge would be a plus


    As a QA test analyst you will liaise on a regular basis with project teams and partners, primarily for the purpose of fulfilling the core QA functions. The ability to adapt and scale on demand is essential as you may be required for parallel project engagements or to act as a dedicated resource for a significant/strategic project. Communication and interaction are important to potentially across a wide section of individuals and departments both internally and client-facing.
