    The Veeam Integration Engineer (VIE) is part of Veeam's Customer Success team and plays an important role in the post-sales success and retention of Veeam's customers. Customers are brought to the VIE by the Veeam Support team, to address inquiries that are not break/fix and therefore not within scope of the Support Team. This includes addressing how-to questions, best practices, and guidance with sizing and configuration of the customer's Veeam environment. The VIE will engage with customers that have varying deployment sizes and skill levels, be comfortable communicating with all levels of the customer team, document customer conversations for internal tracking in addition to email and phone communication with the customer. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, with a solid understanding of Veeam products and associated technologies.

    Responsibilities

    • Work as a member of the Veeam Customer Success team, providing post-sales technical guidance to customers

    • Monitor and handle incoming Integration Team cases being transferred from the Support team

    • Guide customers with best practices, product how-to, product updates, and/or educating customers on the benefits of additional features and/or products relevant to the challenges specified in the case

    • Provide technical guidance directly to customers via email and remote meetings to address technical concerns specified in the case

    • Document a summary of customer conversations for internal tracking, including customer feedback

    • Ability to travel 15%

    Requirements

    • Technical understanding across Veeam technologies

    • Certification in VMCE and VMCA strongly desired

    • Experience in customer-facing roles

    • Proficient with storage, network and/or cloud-based technologies to advise customers with system-level solutions

    • Experience working with monitoring tools and frameworks

    • Experience in data life-cycle management with IT audit requirements

    • Demonstrated experience with virtualization technologies

    • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter and be able to learn new technologies quickly

    • Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities

    • Excellent time management skills

    • Experience with software solutions in complex environments

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • English speaking required, German and/or French would be a plus.
