R&D Head of Professional / Consumer

CER CLEANIG EQUIPMENT, filiala de producție a grupului Kärcher, din Curtea de Argeș. Fabrica CER Cleaning Equipment înfi­ințață înca din anul 2006, la Curtea de Argeș.

Required Qualifications
•University degree in engineering is required ( mechanical, electrical or electronical field);
•Experience in mentoring, building high performing R&D teams;
•Demonstrated capability in initiating and executing change;
•5 years’ experience in R&D in industry companies;
•at least 3 years' experience in coordinating teams and projects;
•Demonstrated leadership, strategic capabilities and management experience in technology and/or business;
•Ability to work in 3D modeling software and finite element analysis;
•Demonstrated capability in leading others in the development of creative innovations and solutions;
•Experience in project management;
•Experience in designing and managing processes;
•Demonstrated capability to shape and prioritize the technology portfolio in alignment with business strategy;
•Capability in managing people and complexity in a multinational environment is needed ;
•Capability to promote team-working and collaboration among the different functions, together with an attitude to measure performances by KPIs is highly appreciated ;
•Ability to translate industry / market trends into new opportunities and solutions for technology;

•Strategic thinking, entrepreneurship and encouragement of driving for creative, marketable solutions is highly appreciated ;
•Drive for excellence is expected ;
•Fluency in English , German is an advantage;

•Ability to travel approximately 10%;

Preferred Qualifications
•5+ years’ experience in multinational company
•Experience with cross-functional and multi-cultural teams
•Automotive and / or other production industry with technical expertise

Responsibilities:

•Leads development projects for Professional / Consumer R&D teams;
•Apply R&D local strategy in line with Group strategy;
•Creates vision for strategic workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, organizational development (including roles and responsibilities), engagement, communication;
•Foster R&D collaboration with other departments (Production, Quality, PM, Sourcing, Logistic, Financial) for current and future projects.
•Leads and participates in product innovation projects;
•Continuous improvement through effective processes and tools;
•Incorporates relevant design expertise and experience in projects in line with Group strategy;
•Encourages creativity in R&D teams;
•Actively searches for best-in-class technologies among competitors and develops innovation;
•Cooperates closely with local & group partners to assure customer focus and target costing;
•Coordinates and assure the right allocation of the resources;
•Establishes and maintains operational budgets for OPEX / CAPEX / FTE;
•Supports R&D projects at local & group level participating in meetings and sharing technical information and "best-practices”;
•Cooperates with design committee to ensure brand-consistent design of product ranges;
•Develops employees assigned to his department;
•Ensure the correct application of relevant local & Group tools/regulations/norms/standards;
•Participates in global and local meetings;
