The successful candidate will be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates complex software functions within the Cybersecurity division of Honeywell Connected Enterprise. You will participate in building and maintaining a microservices-based application, that enables the delivery of cybersecurity services to customers managing systems and assets that support critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Work along side System Architects, Developers and Engineering team members to provide software solutions revolving around Honeywell products and services.
Making strategies with the product team members to develop new solutions with a primary focus on scalability, security, performance and integration.
Participate in designing new features, together with their specific verification and validation routines, in accordance with the requirements stated by the Business.
Design and develop efficient code in a modern object-oriented software language.
Generate clear, understandable component designs, documentation, and deployment guides.
Support system test activities through the development life cycle.
Develop sound and trusted relationships with internal Customers by providing accurate and efficient technical/engineering support. Interact with other developers and assist in resolving technical issues during project lifecycle.

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field such as Computer Science, Computer information systems, electronics or, in lieu of degree, 5 years of directly related experience.
3+ years’ Commercial Software Development experience.
2+ years’ Agile Development Experience.
2+ years of backend focused development (C# .NET ) OR frontend focused development (JavaScript / NodeJS, HTML5).


WE VALUE
Effective written and verbal skill to enable strong communication capabilities.
Ability to write / craft clear, understandable documentation that translates complicated technical processes to a target audience.
Experience with development tools for unit and integration testing
Familiarity with one or more of these scripting languages: PowerShell, Python.
Familiarity with ELK Stack solutions, including designing and implementing Kibana dashboards.
Familiarity with microservices architecture.
