About this opportunity

The Catalog Management Specialist role is part of the Internal Buying Compliance and Support team in Sourcing PtP Process & Operations. The role is supporting members of the Global Sourcing Organization with the migration and maintenance of buying catalogs across defined categories of services and goods acquired by Ericsson from contracted suppliers. The aim is to enable for Ericsson users simple, efficient catalog buys, optimizing cost and consolidating spend.

Basic project management knowledge and proved track record of handling simultaneous priorities;
A business understanding of Sourcing Process / Principles overall. Awareness of category management and purchase to pay principles & WoW is an advantage;
Excellent written & spoken English skills as the role has global exposure;
Proactivity, perseverance, persuasiveness & influencing skills;
Ability to train colleagues or stakeholders.
Ability to manage big data volumes and Excellent excel skills
Automation skills are an advantage

What you will do:

Migrate existing content from existing platform to the new one;
Ensure maintenance of the catalogs in the new platform
Ensure problems solving to the end users requesting for support in the ticketing platform
Identify and address catalog creation opportunities by looking at historical spend within your assigned categories and market areas
Engage suppliers to adhere to the catalogs’ ways of working;
Liaise with Ericsson Sourcing Category Managers to harmonize catalogs usage with their strategy;
Ensure existing catalogs have up-to-date listings and meet quality standards;
Create end-user awareness around catalogs benefits, educate and support adoption programs;


The Catalog Management Specialist

Serves as the liaison for the global Sourcing Organization inside Internal Buying Compliance and Support team related to catalogs matters;
Liaises with stakeholders and suppliers throughout the catalog lifecycle, treating that as a project, advising the stakeholders on solutions and taking ownership of issues while providing updates to the Team Lead and/or Line Manager regarding the progress;
Manages stakeholders’ complaints, addressing concerns, observing existing rules and instructions.
Seeks proactively to expand the breadth and width of catalogs usage and chases opportunities to expand: their numbers, users’ community, and span of products/services;
Collaborates with stakeholders, suppliers and peer teams to develop and improve existing tools and processes.
