    • Completed degree in Computer, Engineering or a comparable degree program; 
    • Knowledge of C/C++ programming languages; 
    • Knowledge of OS architecture; 
    • Knowledge of architecture, design and development of embedded software applications; 
    • Experience with software development related tools; 
    • Innovative, team-oriented, able to communicate well and persuasive; 
    • Self-organized and able to estimate, prioritize and schedule your own tasks; 
    • Willingness to take on technical ownership, responsibility and ready to challenge technical solutions; 
    • Capable to assess the identified risks and define a mitigation plan; 
    • Willing to learn and adapt to the development of new technologies; 
    • Fluent in English, both verbal and written; 

    Nice to have

    • Experienced with ASIL development; 
    • Knowledge of cyber security concepts; 
    • Experienced with Linux/QNX driver development; 
    • Willingness to undertake business trips abroad for trainings and project work;

    Job Description

    We are currently looking for a Software Developer with Linux for ADAS Rail projects to work within our team. As autonomous driving is becoming a reality in the field of railways, you will be developing solutions and products that will shape the mobility of tomorrow. This comes as a need for the oncoming decades, where automated and connected road vehicles may become ubiquitous, maybe exceeding road infrastructure and potentially arrive at a stalemate. The scope of duties starts with the system/architecture conception, continues with build infrastructure, driver and component development, hardware bring-up of computer units and ends with system testing. 

    In your role you will: 

    • develop proof of concepts and prototypes for new performant computer devices; 
    • analyze, create, integrate and test concepts for Linux/QNX; 
    • adapt Linux/QNX Drivers for new hardware; 
    • review the requirements including alignment with the stakeholders; 
    • create software design, implement and test software components; 
    • produce high quality software by writing unit tests, following coding guidelines and writing documentation; 
    • communicate the risks to the project team as soon as they are identified; 
    • debug and fix the issues reported to the development team; 
    • work in an agile team and will take part in the continuous improvement of our solutions and working methods; 
    • be involved in customer projects and proof of concepts for the next generations; 
    • be the technical contact person for other teams (possibly international) and discuss concepts and requirements with them; 
    • work together with other teams, departments, and customers;
