Laboratory Coordinator(chemical & compound testing) - Tires

Job Description

Ensure laboratory compliance with applicable standards and norms (IATF 16949, corporate procedures, special customer requirements)

Organize testing process according to internal instructions and norms;

Release incoming materials and compounds;

Carry out maintenance and calibration process of equipment located in the laboratory

Prepare, implement and optimize procedures, work instructions in lab area;

Secure and control area employees follow labor safety, fire safety and relevant industrial safety rules and legislation

Assist in preparing the yearly budget proposal and verify the budget plan for approval;

Ensure that FMEA, control plans, procedures and work instructions, control of non-conforming products are implemented

Track the quality indicators and follow up the results

Assure compliance to IATF 16949, legal, customer and internal requirements as required in areas related to responsibility of quality of product and process group.

Participate in internal and external audits and support the corrective actions following the audits

University  degree, graduate of the Faculty  Chemistry is an advantage

3 years experience in material test laboratory on specialist or engineer position or on comparable position in Quality department

Understanding and applying project management knowledge (as project member / leader)

Has successfully managed a project team and/or demonstrated ability to lead. Has preferably at least 2 years of experience in leading a small group

Has worked with different cultures through involvement in multicultural projects or internship / study abroad.
