    Requirements

    What you’ll bring to the team

    Experience:
    Academic background;
    5-7 years relevant working experience in Operations Management
    Extensive knowledge in Lean Six Sigma, Black Belt would be a plus
    Experience in process design, measurement and improvement;
    Experience in working in a global organizations with different cultures and maturity levels.
    Mandatory:

    Prioritization and planning skills;
    Coordination and project management skills for running multiple initiatives;
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think out new solutions; rigor in fact base/data analysis;
    Strong willingness and ambition to drive process and cultural change; ability to challenge authority and speak up;
    Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills for interactions with management and operational staff;
    Leadership skills and ability to motivate staff;

    We started out in 2015 as ING’s software development hub – a distinct entity from ING Bank Romania – then steadily expanded our range to include more services and competencies.

    Formerly known as ING Tech, as of 2022 we provide borderless services with bank-wide capabilities under the name of ING Hubs Romania and operate from two locations: Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca.

    With the help of over 1600 engineers, risk, and operations professionals, we offer 130 services in tech, non-financial risk & compliance, audit and retail operations to 24 ING units worldwide.

    Your day to day

    Even if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:

    Design and implement sustainable and excellent customer journeys by applying Lean Six Sigma, Operational management, Data Science, Sales Funnel Excellence and robotics;
    Closely cooperate with our business partners (Domain Leads, Process Experts, et al) towards the right solution with fact-based impact
    Understand and appreciate the application of Operations Management
    Working with operational teams in all parts of the business to analyze, review, identify and document business process improvement opportunities.
    Act as a mentor and advocate to business partners and leadership team to promote and encourage continuous process improvements.
    Where applicable, demonstrate usage of Six Sigma and Lean Sigma tools and techniques
    Provide training on Six Sigma and Lean Sigma tools and techniques
    Ensure integrity and consistency in all initiatives and allocated tasks.
    Identify, understand and manage inter project dependencies, risks and issues.
    Deliver progress status related reporting to senior management and committee structures as required.
    Provide business partners and business leadership with independent consultation and support in the delivery of business change opportunities and recommendations.
    Act as a source of structured change management and process improvement expertise.
    Planning, coordinating and consulting with both business and project teams to ensure delivery in a consistent and effective manner.
