Possessing a minimum of 1 year of experience in a global large scale corporate international environment in a role involving information security, privacy, data protection
General understanding of privacy and data protection regulations (like GDPR) - provisions, principles, technical security measure
Understanding of IT security/privacy controls, experienced in their implementation and/or execution
Knowledge of IT risk management
General understanding of data life cycle management. Retention and deletion implementation experience is a plus.
Ability to investigate, retrieve and analyze data
Decision making ability and self-disciplined
Strong assertive communication skills
Adaptable: Open to new ideas, is a “quick read” for changing situations and balances long-term view with short-term actions.
Humble yet confident, with high self-awareness.
The ability to make sense of complex issues and ambiguous situations
Self-starter with high energy and drive, fast paced and results driven; forward thinking
Proactive, with the ability to quickly respond to issues at hand; able to prioritize effectively
First class communication skills – verbal, written and listening
Ability to work under pressure
CISM/CISSP/CIPT certification is a plus
Support privacy via innovative privacy enhancing tools and technologies
Work on the privacy program within Technology initiatives implementation, taking ownership on the deliverables
Work together with the internal and external stakeholders to support the technical privacy controls implementation
and execution
Manage the internal and external dependencies, priorities, expected deliverables and timelines, responsible for planning, execution and reporting
Collaborate with other technology teams on the integration of the corresponding privacy enhancing tools and technologies into the company business processes
Maintain privacy framework, keep the corresponding documents (standards, process narratives, chart of controls, etc.) up to date
Continuously work on self-development in privacy, security and technology domains
Contributing to a high scale, complex, world renowned product and seeing real-time impact of your work on millions of travelers worldwide
