The LSEG Lipper provides global, independent fund performance data in a precise, granular fund classification system, and includes mutual funds, closed-end funds (CEFs), exchange-traded funds (ETFs), hedge funds, domestic retirement funds, pension funds, and insurance products.
The LSEG Lipper, is looking for Senior Software developer who will work with upper management, architecture, development, and quality assurance teams to define software requirements and take the lead on technical projects using his excellent organization and problem-solving skills. Strong hands-on experience in software development and agile methodologies is critical. Your goal will be to enhance and develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business requirements. The ideal candidate will have an established background in designing and building highly scalable web and/or API products, excellent project management and leadership skills, great communication skills, cross team interaction and the motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in all vital phases of a project implementation, including functional requirements, technical design, development, unit testing and user acceptance testing
- Responsible for the analysis, modification, and maintenance of existing software Applications, to meet agreed business needs.
- Collaborate closely with other groups within the organization to understand their requirements of the platform and to support their use of it.
- Participate in requirements gathering, advise on technical issues and serve as top-tier technical support to the team and users
- Maintenance of widely used UI Applications and/or web services.
- Take ownership of problems and driving themselves and others to define and implement solutions
Requirements
- .Net Framework 4.5-4.8
- .Net Core 3.1 and .Net 5 &6
- .Net WCF (SOAP) services
- Experience with Java script frameworks, for example Typescript, Angular, Vue, React, NodeJs
- Build automation familiarity
- Msbuild, dotnet build
- Familiar with Cloud Technologies (AWS preferred)
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Automated testing, and other techniques a plus
