DevOps Engineer

Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

- Conducts ongoing administration of data layer, application and infrastructure including proposing application systems changes, better uses and enhancements.
- Manages availability, performance monitoring, and capacity planning for data and application layers using a variety of toolsets.
- Supports with improving the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.
- Supports services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
- Maintains services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
- Delivers sustainable incident response.
- Writes highly optimised code for LSEG products and solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronics / Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- Previous experience in software development in one or more programming languages
