What we expect from you?

Qualification and competencies:

- Object oriented programming language skills (any of java, python, groovy, C#);
- Basic knowledge about Docker Containers;
- Experience with one of back-end frameworks like Springboot, Microprofile, .NET.

Technical nice to have:

- Experience in unit testing and clean code;
- Experience in application development best practices regarding mocking, integration testing, SQL usage;
- Experience with one of front-end frameworks like angular, react, vue.js;
- Test automation skills with one of major standards like Selenium, Postman, SoapUI.

Personality & Soft Skills:

What will you be doing in this role?

Key tasks and responsibilities:

- Providing support to the other internal teams, focused on overall knowledge of the DevOps tool chain, spreads the culture and best practices of development within DevOps way of working;
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and analysis and design of new functionalities;
- Setting up new development environments supporting other teams;
- Development of new functionalities, improvement, maintenance of solutions in CI/CD/CT processes.

The process is mainly based on 4 growing tools:

• Jenkins Platform – on our Kubernetes Openshift cluster we manage Jenkins, Grafana, InfluxDB, container security tools (Notary, Open Policy Agent, Hadolint) and finally few custom tools (Springboot and Angular). The CI/CD process is driven by the pipeline centrally managed by the shared library written in groovy and maintained by the team. The shared library manages the deployment of applications on on-premise infrastructures and in public clouds (GCP, Azure).
The same shared library also drives the IaC (infrastructure as Code) workflow based on Terraform and Configuration mgmt on Ansible.
The pipeline orchestrates and supports many other tools needed in the CI/CD process (Wiremock - mocking for Integration test, Liquibase - database management and more).
• BitBucket – the git server with its customizations is a part of chain but not managed by the team.
• Nexus and Artifactory – artifact repositories where we deposit the artifacts produced by the pipeline. This is managed by the team including design a lifecycle of the artifacts.
• SeleniumGrid – a platform, which allows to perform automatic E2E tests.

Testing part of the offering includes also frameworks making it easy for teams to start developing tests:
• Java Selenium Framework (internal framework maintained by the team)
• Java SoapUI Framework (simple framework for web services)


The team in Romania will be focused on overall knowledge of the tool chain and providing support to the other internal teams spreading the culture and best practices of development within DevOps way of working. The members will have possibility to contribute also to the development and enhancement of the tool chain.
